I created this piece at the end of 2021, after going through the ending of a friendship. As most know, the ending of a friendship can be just as traumatic and impactful as a romantic breakup.

Once time had passed and the initial pain wore off, I began to explore and think about the concept of the hero vs. the villain. Where in reality no one is one or the other, we are always both. You will always be the villain in someone's story just as much as you are the hero to others. No one is built perfect and you can not always predict or expect certain behaviors from others.

So when you look at this piece, can you truly tell me who the villain really is?
