'Anxiety' Archival Print on Watercolor Paper 10x10in (25.4x25.4cm)
10x10" on bright white watercolor paper.
"Anxiety" was created in April 2015. Inspired by my evolving relationship with my own anxiety. I found that by creating this piece, I was able to finally see a path to coping with my mental health and a real way for me to express what I was feeling.
Each print comes with a description card on the back:
"Snakes coiled, crushing my lungs, bees sting my skin and my mind, sometimes I just want to rip open my chest and finally be able to take a nice deep breath. Struggling with an anxiety disorder is so real for so many people. Like myself, many people are not diagnosed with an anxiety disorder until they are adults or not at all. This piece was born from finally being able to put a name to the way I had been feeling for years.
